LUCKNOW: Sleuths Crime Department arrested two people alleged to have been duping the applicants for the sake of the question papers for test selection teacher of Uttar Pradesh, held on Sunday. However, the credibility of the whole operation was subjected to the scanner.
Acting on the warning, police nabbed two men late Saturday night. They were subsequently identified as Sathya Bahadur Singh, a native of Pratapgarh, living in an apartment on Cantt road at Shalimar police station Kaiserbagh and Ajay Kumar Singh alias Mintoo, born in Ghazipur, residing in Rajeevnagar, Kalyanpur in Gudamba police station area.
Satya Bahadur is a primary school teacher, while Ajay is a contractor with Norman Nigam.
Police claim that up to now four people; Manoj Singh of Ballia, Vinay Singh from Allahabad, Pratapgarh and Irfaan Ishtiyaaq from Allahabad from identified gave money to the question paper.
"Names for the same is mentioned in the diary recovered from Singh Bahadur Sathya," DIG said and added that the same is not checked against the persons whose names were mentioned in the diary.
FIR in this regard, it was registered in the name of the Lucknow police confirmed the DIG. However, to date no complaint had been registered by any of the "gullible" victims, sources.
Police said the two were nabbed with documents subject to guess seven subjects along with their answers.

About document recovery, think Singh said that, since he was a teacher and academically bright, some of his friends wanted him to prepare a document for them to guess Tet exam. It is in this context, that he had prepared a document to guess which claims the police for attempting to befool gullible.
Responding to the assertion of the accused, the DIG questioned the usefulness of the photocopier, who was also with them. Photocopy machine was restored by contractor Ajay Kumar Singh.
