2011, The Formula 1 GP Airtel India: Sebastian Vettel Claims 13 Pole Position Season


Sebastian Vettel will start from pole position of the first formula 1 Indian Grand Prix. Earlier in the day, Vettel was at the top of the standings after the final practice session before qualifying. He recorded a time of 1 min 54, improving its 24.178 FP3 time 1 m 24.824. Vettel took his 13-pole position of the season and made its way into an elite group of past F1 drivers who were able to claim as many pole positions in a single season.

Lewis Hamilton will have to serve as a grid penalty for violation of yellow flag earlier exercises. Hamilton the second best time during qualifying, but the result will be the fifth. The track itself, seem to have become a big hit with drivers. Drivers enjoy fast flowing corners and obvisanie, that offer a whole new challenge. Fan support has also been remarkable. Even if the skills track had a good attendance and viewers seem to have a really good time watching zip cars F1 adopted its stands.
