October 12, 2010: Facebook added two interesting security related functions for the login process. United States users can now receive SMS-message with a one-time password that they can use to log on to your Web site. They need to add a mobile number to their account and you can from this point to get passwords by sending SMS to 32665 with otp. Facebook replies with a one-time password that users can then impose instead of their original password during logon.
In addition it is now possible to remotely. Let's say you were in a library or a friend's House, checked your status, but forgot to go. Any user with access to a computer can access your Facebook account. To prevent remote logout was established. Open the account settings to see if any meetings are open to the public.
