Google Doodle Celebrates Louis Daguerre 224 Birthday


New Delhi, November 18: Google, welcomed users with family photo, figure in honour of Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre--224. French painter and physicist, was the inventor of the Daguerreotype, the first successful form of photography.

Prior to the Daguerreotype photograph requires hours of exposure and Louis Daguerre invented to cut it to 20-30 minutes.

The Daguerreotype, method developed by Daguerre in the 1830 's, in collaboration with Nicephore Niepce iodide silver coated copper plate was exposed to light in the camera and then was fumed with mercury vapour. Then salt solution was applied to form a permanent image. As daguerreotype grew popular, later improvements reduced the exposure time up to 40 seconds in 1841.

Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre--born November 18, 1787, and he was a French painter and physicist, recognition for his invention of the Daguerreotype process of photography.

July 10, 1851 Daguerre died of a heart attack.

Doodle Daguerre Google shows a family of five Photo family style of the 19th century, where "G" & ' o' from the Google name represent the father and mother, and the remaining three letters from the children. "OS" are the two daughters and a son "E". "L" is a lamp. Interestingly, the father of "G" similar Daguerre himself.

Google doodles have gained tremendous popularity in the past few years, and the Google team created a commemorative event of doodles, ranging from News events, civil milestones, birthdays, anniversary, death, and important dates in history.

Google believes it has created more than 900 doodles with 1998, with 270 of them running in 2010, and about 200 in the year 2011.
