Shakal Pe Mat Ja: Movie Review

Director: Shubh Mukherjee
Starring: Shubh Mukherjee, Chitrak Bandhopadyay, Saurabh Shukla, Raghivir Yadav

Do not get deceived by humble-nominal Shakal Pe mat Ja if low on Star value but high on the humor quotient of varieties. The film starts as a spin-off seeming to last year's cult comedy Tere bin Laden but ends up being treading commotional comedy of errors (quite erroneous comedy) in Priyadarshan-Anees Bazmee zone.

Thus actor writer director Shubh Mukherjee plays Aniket, who with his group of friends, strives to make a documentary on the terrorist attacks. And you can see Aniket in an attempt to make the College film project resulting in an attempt to amateur films Shubh Mukherjee.

Taking random video shots in the airport vicinity, boys detained by police and detained at the airport on suspicion of terrorism. Potbellied counter-terrorism officer (Saurabh Shukla) comes to investigate. In the midst of all this one Omama bin Laden, who is the head of some terrorist group Al Bakaida, planning to the actual attack at the airport.

Hours before Shubh point-to launch itself as the hero encounter noise disturbance and confusion. And to that end, he simply extended a bomb shears off one of the wires red green blue-trademark trick in 80-õ potboilers. Only if the bomb spread and the film is so easy, a lot more soul would have been saved.

Despite starting with a promising premise, writer director Shubh Mukherjee is unable to develop the plot in an interesting way and the potential for fresh comedy is formulaic film. The boys are still more that half of the movie and nothing substantial is through their content (with the exception of redundant and repetitive questioning), the narrative turns static and one-dimensional. The rest of the movie turns into an (alleged) comedy of mistaken identity indoor airport with creatures and bags, the offset of the hands of every 10 minutes.

The tone of comedy, although not farce, inconsistent and ineffective on the ground. Not supported by witty lines, nor a good timed comic performances. The second half goes on and on and it seems like an endless event where each character screaming their lungs. Cricket match live India-Pakistan, which played in parallel has no relationship with the Central plot.

Shubh Mukherjee makes sincere efforts, but gets wrong as the Director of the tone of humor. As an actor, his dialogue delivery is suggestive of Shahid Kapoor, his acting recalls Riteish Deshmukh, but, in General, he comes across as a Cheap imitation of Ali Zafar. Chitrak Bandhopadyay working as a prototype in fat bearded comic sidekick in the films as a hangover or Delhi Belly is not half as fun. The only thing it does is it pretentious farting noise and fake firang accent. Actor Pratik Katare not partially as funny as it was in the PAA. Severe Parekh has no screen presence. Saurabh Shukla keeps "scream" on all around lower their voice. Raghuvir Yadav is malnutrition. Umang Jane is not quite a minor role (again after love Breakups Zindagi). Hardly Aamna Shariff. And why joy Sengupta even there.

The film is essentially in its modest artist but it is a pity that did not properly utilize. So Shakal Pe mat. .. I apni akal lagaa.
