Taylor Swift's "Network" Means A CMA Nomination

Nashville, Tenn. — Taylor Swift turned a negative into a positive, and she netted her a nomination for the award of the Association in this year's country music.

SWIFT got her first CMA song of the year nominations for the "average" her courageous refutation of cynical criticism. This trophy is a writer, painter, and among the most coveted awards Wednesday night in the city, where a revered songwriter.

"Yours truly, it's about time," said Scott Borchetta, head of Swift's label, big machine Records. "I don't think it gets near the props it deserves for her songwriting. I've been in business since Taylor almost seven years and her songs were great, when I met her in 14.

SWIFT has received its share of love for her songwriting. She won a Grammy for best country song of the year 2010. Nashville Songwriters Association International named her composer, painter, four for the past five years — and in 21 she remains the youngest winner of this award. And BMI performing rights organization, has awarded its all genre of songs per year once and country song of the year three times.

She received a trunk full of CMA trophies, including the highest award for artist of the year in 2009 year. But it is never exposed in this category of songwriting.

"Mean" retort nit pickers, bullies and perhaps curmudgeonly commentator Bob Lefsetz, it was hard to resist. It shows the Swift at its finest. This vulnerable and confidently, with infectious chorus, message and upbeat capabilities among her most countrified devices built around Swift's hollow 6 string line.

The song went to no. 1 on the country and adult contemporary charts.

"Receiving the CMA nominations for" Means "was definitely the time jumping up and down for me because this song is really close to my heart," Swift said in a statement to The Associated Press. "I am so thrilled the film was nominated for song of the year, because it's a song that I wrote a very, very bad day, but he has so many happy days for me."

With more in the future. Brad Paisley, six times nominated in the category, believes that Swift is unreasonably being ignored as a songwriter, among voters who make up the MAS. He pointed out that most voters are in their 30 's and 40 's and older. This year the nomination may be a breakthrough.

"There is no 18-year-old in the world, you say, who do not deal with some of her songs," Paisley said. "And in this sense, although she laughs all the way to the Bank as voters might say," well, you know that it's not for me. "it's not fair. In some ways it's even more innovative that it is done. I am proud that it is done ".

Other nominees in the category of Zac Brown, Coy Boyles, Wyatt Durette and Levi Lowry on the Zac Brown Band "cooler weather," Kimberly Perry Perry for the team, "if i die young," Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford "dirt road anthem" Jason Aldean and Diana Carter and Matraca Berg for Kenny Chesney's "you and tequila". Field, you can take it wide open with Berg only previous winner in the 1997 year, co-author of "Strawberry wine."

Swift, of course, can not win. But as the song points out it is already a winner.

"It has just been on an amazing streak," Borchetta said. "Regardless of its surroundings, wherever they happened to be, that's what she saw. And (songs) are very complex. They are very catchy. She is a brilliant songwriter and if you ask any of the other artists who are hip, they know. So I'm thrilled IAU recognized her. "

CMA Awards air 7:0 pm on Wednesday, 9 November on ABC.
